A cropduster named Dusty Crophopper is dreaming of a fighter jet when he is brought back to earth by Leadbottom, who scolds him and tells him that breeders are not built for racing. After work, Dusty often flies with his best friend Chug, who tells him he needs a flight instructor. Dusty then goes to Skipper Riley, a flight instructor who doesn't like Dusty very much. As Skipper and Dottie try to warn Dusty that a factory race is bad, Dusty and Chug continue to try for the Wings Around the Globe Rally.
Many airplanes try to compete, but when Dusty comes on the road everyone starts laughing at him and says that a farmer can't compete. However, Dusty wowed the crowd, finishing just 2 milliseconds behind the winner in fifth place, putting him in sixth. Disappointed, Dusty and his friends return home to Propwash Junction. But the next day, Roper, the manager of the competition, arrives in town to tell Dusty that the plane ahead of him, Fonzarelli, cannot compete because he used an illegal fuel upgrade, and destroys him and Dusty. replace him.
Later in the morning, Skipper visits Dusty and tries to talk him out of the race, but when Dusty explains that he wants to prove that he is more than just trash, Skipper decides to mentor Dusty with his speed and strength. While in the middle of his training, Dusty admits that he is afraid of heights. However, they continued their training and when it was over, Dusty headed to the race meeting at John F. Kennedy Airport.
Then Dusty travels to New York, where the first stage of the race takes place. Dusty meets all the contestants, including Ripslinger, a three-time champion, Bulldog, and the Mexican El Chupacabra, who he quickly befriends, and Ishani, an Indian champion who he quickly falls in love with. The next day, the race begins. Before they started, El Chupacabra told Dusty that he shouldn't let anything stand in his way, that he only loves a French-Canadian woman named Rochelle. The flag goes up, and the contestants go. In the first leg of the race from New York to Iceland where they will be placed in a cabin with a fire inside, Dusty's refusal to fly high causes him to finish in last place because he collects ice on his wings from the ocean cold deliberately and his steady state to manage the heat, Dusty finished in eighth place, and when he arrived he was mocked by Ripslinger. El Chupacabra tries to flirt with Rochelle, but only misinterprets her pick up line. In the second stage of the race in Germany, Dusty is doing well, but he noticed that the plane in front of him, the Bulldog, has a problem, because his eyes are covered in oil from one of his planes due to the heat of . the fire, so. he shows good sportsmanship in saving him, earns the Bulldog's respect but finally gives up and down to help the now blind Bulldog. After navigating it, they land safely, and the Bulldog goes to thank Dusty for his help.

The next step will be to land the competitors in India. Ishani invites Dusty to come to the Taj Mahal with her, where she advises him - it is better to fly low, by following the trains to his destination. Dusty followed his advice on the next leg, but when he reached a tunnel, he barely fit in, and was almost killed by an oncoming train. Then Dusty finds him in another place, thinking he is dead, only to find that he came in the first place.
The fifth leg is on the Hump (the mountain between India in the northeast and China in the south) in Shanghai, where Dusty once again reaches the first place. There, Dusty can help El Chupacabra win over Rochelle with a happy song, which is very useful, because the next day, Rochelle will still kiss El Chupacabra, embarrassing the latter. !
In the next step, the drivers need to use the antennas. To prevent Dusty from winning, Ned and Zed cut off Dusty's antenna, causing Dusty to get caught in a storm 375 miles from where he should be. He is rescued by two fighters named Bravo and Echo, who take care of him until he is ready to fly back at the end of the leg. When Bravo and Echo take Dusty inside to see the Jolly Wrenches Wall of Fame, Dusty sees Skipper, but notes that he has only one mission.
After returning to where he was supposed to be in Hawaii, Dusty was found underwater and badly damaged and rescued by two, and taken to a hospital in Mexico. Dusty's wing is badly broken, and badly damaged elsewhere. Dusty asks Skipper why he only had one mission, and Skipper reveals that on his first mission, his entire crew was captured by an enemy ship, causing Skipper to vow never to fly again. Later, the other contestants give her things like new wings, a new tail and even Ishani's tattoo. As Dottie records, Chug reviews Ripslinger's race, noting that before each victory he leans to the side so the cameras can snap.

As the final leg begins, Ripslinger tells Ned and Zed that Dusty will be destroyed. After going off camera, Ripslinger begins pinning Dusty to the ground while hitting him with rocks. Skipper then appears, who takes care of Ripslinger while Dusty leaves with Ned and Zed. The dust tricked them into turning, stuck together between two rocks. Skipper starts to fight Ripslinger, but Skipper's tail is broken and he is shot. Dusty tries to help, but says he has to go win the competition. Dust grabs Ripslinger and as Chug looks on, he leans to the side for the cameras. Dusty sees his chance, and speeds past Ripslinger just in time to win. Not paying attention, Ripslinger hits some port-a-potties, which Roper later explains will always tell him to go home and clean up.
Before long, Dusty is an honorary member of the Jolly Wrenches, and he and Skipper are on their way home.
The plane is based on an idea created by John Lasseter. Although Pixar did not produce the film, Lasseter, the chief creative officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, and the director of Cars and Cars 2, was also the director of the film. The writers made a great effort not to remake Cars in a new way, rejecting ideas that are too close to the idea of Cars. The team also researched by interviewing some of the pilots of the types of aircraft that were included in the film.
We've had a great time exploring the world of Cars over the course of two movies, so it only seems natural to see where our imaginations take us next. a film in the plane of the main characters. By expanding the world of Cars, Airplanes give us a new set of exciting opportunities and a great opportunity to meet new interesting people. The team at DisneyToon Studios did an amazing job creating a heartwarming story full of comedy, suspense, and emotion. I know the audience will love getting out into the wild blue outdoors with these awesome characters, while experiencing a new kind of adventure.
